Deputy PM: Govt yet to agree on Tele2 consolidation draft directive

SENEZH, Moscow Region, Jun 25 (PRIME) -- The Russian government is yet to agree on a draft directive of consolidation by state-controlled telecom operator Rostelecom of mobile operator T2 RTK Holding, working under the Tele2 brand, Deputy Prime Minister Maxim Akimov told reporters on Tuesday.

“Work as planned is going on. We’ve made all decisions. There is a process of agreement of the draft directive, which is in progress,” Akimov said.

Rostelecom President Mikhail Oseyevsky said earlier that the operator, which currently owns 45% of T2 RTK Holding, expects the government to approve all necessary documents on the deal by September.
